Thrift store shopping can be a treasure trove of surprises. You never know what you'll find, but that's part of the fun. Recently, I stumbled upon a great golf shirt that caught my eye. It was a long-sleeved, urnl brand shirt, which is not a brand that I typically see at thrift stores. Most of the golf shirts I find are from barstool sports, so this one was a nice change.
What's even better is that it was marked down from $6 to $1.50, so I couldn't resist picking it up. It remains to be seen how well it will perform on the golf course, but I'm excited to try it out.
In addition to the golf shirt, I also found some other great items. One of them was an Abercrombie & Fitch down and feather-stuffed puffer jacket. It's super warm and perfect for winter weather. I also came across two beautiful business jackets made of wool, one from Harley's and the other of unknown origin. Both jackets are of high quality and likely from the same original owner.
One of the jackets has some wear on the inside, indicating that it was definitely worn by its previous owner, but overall they are both great winter trench coats.
Another recent find that I will be listing for sale is a Tommy Hilfiger maxi dress. It's all white and has beautiful lace detailing down the front. I picked it up from the Goodwill bins for around a dollar and it's perfect for summer.
Thrift store shopping is not only fun, but it's also a great way to save money and find unique pieces that you won't find in mainstream stores. I encourage everyone to give it a try and see what treasures they can uncover. Who knows, maybe you'll find your new favorite golf shirt!
